Should
Lydia's husband be arrested and tried as the person responsible for her death?
In my
humble opinion Lydia’s husband should be
tried for her death. First of all, it must be noted that when Lydia’s husband left home he was sure that she is going to die. Since he knew that, he should call to an ambulance, because it was his moral duty. I could only imagine how hard was it for him to be in such a relationship.
But it can not be an excuse for what he did or rather for what he did not do
with that knowledge. That’s why I think he should be tried but it is up to
judges what his destiny will be.
Not offering someone help when we can see they are dying is punishable by law, which you clearly argued.
